AUDIO BRANDING


Proficiency in the field of Audio Branding

INTEGRAL is a member of the international project team “ABC_DJ”. This extensive survey is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement No.688122).

ABC_DJ stands for "Artist to Business to Business to Consumer Audio Branding System”. It is a cooperative project between seven companies and institutions from several European countries – from Germany, Italy, France to Spain. TU Berlin is responsible for the project management.



The project seeks to provide European creative agencies in the field of Audio Branding with sophisticated information and communication technology supporting tools. The project is scheduled for three years, from January 2016 to December 2018, and will entail extensive research to base all software developments and supporting tools on scientific insights. European creators of music, independent labels as well as respective multipliers will be actively included into the audio branding value chains.
The result will be a 24/7-DJ – always providing the right music any time for any target group:
  • Audio branding tool: Desktop application for the visualisation and communication of music
  • Playlist generator tool: Desktop application for the production, visualisation and export of sophisticated playlists
  • Cockpit unit: : Instore client tool – two-piece software application for content deployment, remote real-time monitoring and maintenance of an existing instore music implementation

Integral market research contributes a lot to the understanding of music perception by consumers and creates that way the basis for the development of these tools.
